After a little sabbatical I decided to work on a cover today – the client wanted moody and dark and sea – I found loads of shots like that which I liked – so did loads.

/ September 27, 2012I love the shots you have selected, so many beautiful covers, your client is getting an amazing variety here. Any of these covers would work well. The ones I like the best are Aqua Wash, Coal Teeth, Drowning Lightning, Evil Gulls, Horizon, and Creeping Simple.

/ September 27, 2012All of these are terrific; there’s really a lot to look at. But by far, my favorite is Coal Teeth. I really, really like that one. Horizon is probably second. I like Unsettling as well, although that may not be what the client is wanting. Perhaps it’s not dark enough. Also, Unsettling has more of a literary fiction look to it, IMO. So I don’t know if it would work out.
