Hi there … I’m James. I love books. I love design. Perfect! It means I’m the right person to design book covers for you. I’ve been designing on computers since I was a nipper. That’s right I grew up in the seventies and eighties and I originally hail from England – although I’ve bummed around Europe for the last ten years – hitting all the nice cities: Paris, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Antwerp (ok the last two weren’t so fun – blame my ex-girlfriend).
The last three books I read for my pleasure where Dead Man’s Pedal by Alan Warner, This is Life by Dan Rhodes and The Theory and Practice of Hell: The German Concentration Camps and the System Behind Them by Eugen Kogon. Ok the last one wasn’t that pleasurable - but it sure was informative and interesting. I don’t know why you need to know this but there you go …
If you need to know anything more about me – just ask. I’m an amiable, friendly sort of chap. Helpful too. Give me a shout at firstname.lastname@example.org – I answer all emails – that’s my style.
Some self portraits of me a leisure …
